Who puts the F-U-N in the KHS Foundation? Dana Cox, among others!
Today I interviewed Dana about her hobbies, why she's good at her job, and what the KHS Foundation is and does.
Before you watch...Note: I am not a giant, but I look like one on TV. Dana is a petite little lady and I appear to be approximately 7'2. I'm actually 5'7.
That said, Enjoy!
You can find out more about the Kentucky Historical Society Foundation here. Or, if you'd like to just skip to the good part and make a donation, click this.
In seriousness, although KHS does receive funding from the state the KHS Foundation helps support "extra programs": the Elizabeth Lloyd Jones Scholarship, which allows qualifying school groups to visit KHS admission-free; special events and exhibitions; and some KHS marketing efforts. The number activities and program the Foundation supports makes the KHS Foundation a critical player in supporting KHS in our efforts to help Kentuckians--natives and transplants!--understand our shared past.
As usual, thanks for visiting!
